Zero Robotics is a computer coding program where middle school students learn to program robotic satellites aboard the International Space Station (ISS). 

Camps are divided into two age groups:

Ages 6-8: Half-day camp (9AM - 12PM) – LEGO WeDo 2.0 and Coding Express

Ages 9-12: Full-day camp (9AM - 4PM) – VEX IQ and Drones

What are the dates for this FREE summer program:

Week 1. June 24 - June 28, 2024

Week 2. July 1 - July 5, 2024

Week 3. July 8 - July 12, 2024

Week 4. July 15 - July 19, 2024

Week 5. July 22 - July 26, 2024

Week 6. July 29 - August 2, 2024 (Finals Week)

Interested Organizations/Schools should complete their registration by April 19, 2024.   

• Monday 7/8/24 – Friday 7/12/24

• 20-24 Students, rolling admissions until filled

• In-person, residential camp at Fairmont State University

• NASA IV&V ERC Facility, Fairmont, WV

• Suggested Camp Donation – $400/ student (Tentative) (includes room, meals, all materials, and support for our summer interns)

• Application form must be returned by May 31, 2024.

The following camp sessions have space remaining as of April 17:

• June 18-21, Huntington, Ages 6-8

All other sessions are now full. This includes all sessions of the full-day camp for ages 9-12. Waitlists are available through Eventbrite using the links above.

Our hands-on robotics camps are 4-day programs focusing on fundamental building and programming skills, games, and fun challenges.  Each camp will provide information on age appropriate competitions and how to get involved and stay engaged in robotics. Camps are staffed by NASA ERC staff and college interns sponsored by the IV&V Program and the WV Space Grant Consortium, and hosted at partner sites across the state.

• Teachers Grades K-5

• In-person, commuter camp at Fairmont State University

• 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
